Never had SPAM but I have a lot of friends that eat this all the time with Eggs and noodles. They talk it up so much that I decided to do a little research on what this really is and why it's called SPAM and why it comes in a can...

Well here it is!

SPAM, or spiced ham is basically what it sounds like; basically ham and pork slurry pressed into a patty. It has a binder and is gelatinous from meat stock with a touch of preservative. The stock is pretty much like what you would make at home (bones, meat, and root vegetables cooked in water for a long period of time and strained).

For some reason I thought it was chopped baby meat or raccoon... Guess I was wrong EHH
